Description

People with disabilities (PWD) make up over 61 million Americans, yet they remain significantly underserved by the financial system facing significant barriers to accessing financial services and essential accessibility products that can dramatically improve quality of life. This gap in service isn't just a challenge, it's a tremendous opportunity for Community Development Credit Unions (CDCUs) to lead the way in providing equitable access to credit while driving impactful change.

This session will explore how expanding access to credit can transform lives and empower this often overlooked community. Since 2015, Mobility Trust has exclusively focused on serving the financial needs of the disabled community, building a proven track record of success. Mobility Trust's President, Craig Baker, will reveal actionable strategies for managing risk, establishing efficient delivery channels, and adopting best practices that empower CDCUs to serve PWD effectively. Don't miss this opportunity to learn how to align your mission with meaningful results and lasting impact.

Key Takeaways:

  • Understand Credit Risk Management: Learn underwriting principles tailored to assessing and managing credit risk for borrowers with disabilities, while ensuring equitable access to credit.
