Laurie joined the credit union in 2013, when the newly established Green financing program, with a $2.5M portfolio, was just beginning to gain traction in Vermont’s energy efficiency and renewable energy finance marketplace. Now more than $150M, the green loan portfolio differentiates this Vermont-based credit union as a leader in clean energy finance. Through many collaborations and partnerships with installers, contractors, and stakeholders, Laurie explores ways to leverage financing options that maximize energy savings for borrowers. Her past work experience includes the weatherization program at a community action agency and a successful solar company headquartered in Vermont. Laurie is a board member for Renewable Energy Vermont (REV) and serves on committees of Vermont organizations focusing on energy and community.
