Dan is the Chief Operations Officer at Genesee Co-op Federal Credit Union, a $40+ million CDFI credit union with over 4,400 members. Dan led the launch of their green lending program in 2020, and the development of the geothermal system for the 130-year-old historic building that houses the credit union.

Previously Dan was Senior Associate at Croatan Institute and a consultant to foundations and non-profits where he worked to build a foundation for and to help asset owners build responsible and impact portfolios across asset classes. Before that, Dan spent 5 years as the executive director of the Responsible Endowments Coalition (REC), where he helped launch the fossil fuel divestment campaign which has resulted in over 1200 institutions with nearly $40 trillion investments committing to some form of divestment. Dan serves on Inclusiv’s Government Affairs Committee and on the University of Rochester’s Ethical Endowment Advisory Committee.
