Sahily Rivas is an accomplished leader in the Puerto Rican cooperativista movement, with nearly three decades of dedicated service. She currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Cooperativa Dr. Manuel Zeno Gandía, where she has held various leadership roles over the past 27 years, including Compliance Officer, Vice President of Legal Affairs and Compliance, and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Ms. Rivas holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) and an Associate Degree in Administration (Magna Cum Laude), both from the University’s Arecibo Campus. Her academic credentials are further enhanced by certifications such as the CAMS designation as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (2013) and a License in Life, Disability, and Property Insurance (2016).
