This panel discussion will feature MDI credit unions, highlighting their efforts to drive financial inclusion and community impact. Ranging from financial literacy programs for at-risk youth and formerly incarcerated individuals and community development initiatives such as creating financial empowerment centers, each of the panelists will provide insight into how their financial institutions ingrain themselves within the communities they serve, promoting financial empowerment, small business, and community development in underserved communities. In assessing the needs of their respective communities, these MDIs provide creative solutions to promote economic growth and financial stability within their communities.
