Elisabeth “Liz” Philippe is the Director of External Relations at the United Nations Federal Credit Union, UNFCU, based in New York. Since joining UNFCU in 2002, Liz has served as a liaison to the UN community. She also manages Media Relations for the Credit Union. In addition to her communications role within UNFCU’s UN Affairs and Partnerships division, Liz is a program manager for the UNFCU Global Sustainability Program that convenes the United in Sustainability Network for credit unions to share best practices and ideas on building stronger, more resilient communities. She also serves as a member of the Advisory Council for the UNFCU Foundation, which has a mission to sustain the path out of poverty for vulnerable women and youth through access to healthcare, education, and jobs training.
