Angela is a dedicated professional with a strong background in education and community engagement. She graduated from Wartburg College, earning a bachelor’s degree in education, and went on to complete a master’s degree in post-secondary education at the University of Northern Iowa.

For the past 15 years, Angela has served as the Manager of Community Inclusion at Veridian Credit Union, where she has played a vital role in advancing the organization’s outreach and inclusion initiatives.
Beyond her professional commitments, Angela generously volunteers her time with a variety of community organizations, including the Salvation Army, Lutheran Services of Iowa, Cedar Valley United Way, Advancing Together, and the Greater Des Moines Partnership-Diversity/Inclusion Committee.

Angela’s dedication to her work and her community has been recognized with several awards, such as Leader Valley Champion of the Year, the Iowa Credit Union Foundation Community Impact Award, and The Salvation Army Outstanding Youth Leader.
