Sara Keller is Chief Community Engagement Officer/Executive Director of Nusenda Foundation. Sara joined Nusenda in 2019 as Vice President of Community Engagement, became Executive Director of Nusenda Foundation in 2021, and Senior Vice President of Community Engagement in 2024. In this role, Sara oversees Community Relations, Business Development, Financial Wellbeing, and the Nusenda Foundation. Sara holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Bowling Green State University and is a graduate of Leadership New Mexico, the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce Leadership Albuquerque Program, and the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce Leadership Sandoval County Program. Sara serves on various boards, acting as Board President for NMCAN, Co-chair for the New Mexico Asset Funders Network, and member of the National Assets Funders Board of Directors. She also serves on the Central New Mexico Foundation Board, the City of Albuquerque’s Office of Financial Empowerment Advisory Board and works with the New Mexico Funders Collaborative. Additionally, she is currently volunteering with New Mexico Black Chamber of Commerce’s Black Business Fund. Sara was recognized as one of Albuquerque Business First's Women Who Mean Business in 2026 andvForty under 40 award recipient in 2021, graduated from the inaugural cohort of ChangeMakers in 2022, and is a recipient of the TenderLove Hero’s Award honoring her unwavering support of TenderLove Community Center.
