Teresa brings a blend of interdisciplinary training and lived experience to her role as Executive Director at the Partnership for Community Action, an organization dedicated to dismantling systems of inequity by investing in people and families to build power. She leads initiatives advancing economic security and addresses the systems that shape the lives of children and families in New Mexico, grounded in a commitment to social justice, equity and advocacy. Teresa’s career reflects work in community-based participatory programming, evaluation, and grassroots policy advocacy. As a first-generation college graduate, she earned her Master of Public Health and Health Policy from the University of Washington, Seattle. After transitioning from academia to the nonprofit sector, she has focused on implementing strategies that create lasting impact for families in her community.
