Building Impact Together

Kick off your Inclusiv Conference experience with mission-driven credit union leaders and partners who will inspire you to find new ways to deepen your credit union’s impact. Learn how credit unions across the country are standing strong and building forward, meeting this moment with solutions to the affordability crisis and a deep commitment to financial inclusion. Rather than a traditional panel, this session will feature a series of concise, focused presentations allowing each speaker to share distinct perspectives while keeping the conversation engaging and forward moving. This round of talks will showcase credit unions’ community impact and our shared work to build an inclusive, cooperative financial system will set the tone for this energizing and inspiring event.

3:45 PM - 5:00 PM

Afternoon Plenary:
Building Cross-Sectoral Collaboration for Financial Inclusion & Wealth Building

Building a financial system that works for everyone takes everyone. When credit unions build partnerships, they expand their reach and serve their communities better. Learn how public, non-profit, and broader financial system partnerships can drive credit union growth and financial inclusion in low-income, historically underserved, and immigrant communities. Get inspired to expand your reach and find like-minded community partners to join you in building a truly inclusive financial system.

Exhibitor / Opening Reception

Unscripted Movie Night with Pablo: Breaking the Cycle

Life moves in cycles. The sun rises and sets, tibes ebb and flow, and seasons change. A paycheck arrives and puts dinner on the table, but for many, that paycheck doesn't go far enough. Like the cycle of life, poverty is often passed from generation to generation. But cycles can be broken.

Join us for a special edition of Late Night Unscripted, as we premiere Breaking the Cycle, a documentary short exploring how minority entrepreneurship is creating new pathways to economic mobility and the role credit unions can play. We'll conclude with an unfiltered conversation with the filmmaker and featured credit unions diving into what it takes to turn momentum into lasting change.

6:30 AM - 7:30 AM

Fun Run

Start your day on the move with a scenic run along Portland's beautiful waterfront. Choose between a 5K loop returning via Hawthorne Bridge, or an 8K route crossing back over Tilikum Crossing. All paces are welcome!

8:30 AM - 9:45 AM

Morning Plenary:
Standing Strong for Affordable Communities

As households face affordability challenges, like fast-rising energy bills and rent burdens that put saving and homeownership out of reach, community development credit unions are uniquely positioned to help their members address these issues individually and collectively within their communities. Explore cross-sectoral solutions with credit unions that have addressed affordability challenges facing their members by bringing together advocacy, organizing, and access to affordable financial services and credit. Together, we’ll chart out how credit unions can lead on and effectively speak out about issues of affordability that matter to their members and in their communities.

11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Allies for Inclusion Spotlight

Join us during lunch for Allies for Inclusion Spotlight, a lightning round of introductions to the credit union’s allied groups. Each organization will take the stage for a quick, 2–3 minute overview of who they are, what they do, and how they can support your credit union’s work.
