Molly Smith is the Managing Director of Public Policy at IFF, where she directs the organization’s federal and state policy strategy and serves as a lead advisor on complex legislative matters. With a proven ability to build critical inroads on Capitol Hill, Molly leads successful bipartisan engagement efforts to protect and advance community development interests. She also manages the CDFI-FHLBank Working Group, a collaborative of over 50 CDFIs championing systemic reforms to unlock capital flow for affordable housing in underserved markets. Prior to joining IFF, Molly worked in commercial real estate strategy in New York City. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Chicago Policy Review.
